((ok, so this is FAAAAAAR from finished .___.))
Neverland wasn’t a paradise as the most seem to think. Not for everyone at least. As long as there were people living there, it would never be a perfect place.
Maybe humans weren’t supposed to exist on this beautiful yet strange paradise. The only thing they ever accomplished with was destruction. And they were cowards. As soon as they encountered something new and unknown to them, they see it as a threat. So what do they do? They get rid of the threat, without a second thought to look closer and learn more about it. They’ve already decided it’s something bad, nothing worth trying to understand. Because different is never a good thing to be.
They’re so very, very afraid. Pathetic.
Maybe that’s the main reason to why we hate them too. They never gave us a chance, so we won’t give them one either.
“Don’t cry.”
I glanced up at the boy a few feet away from me and quickly wiped away my tears. I wasn’t supposed to cry.
“I’m not,” I faked a smile at him. He looked to be around my age, just as fragile and scraggy as I am.
He titled his head and slowly walked over to sit in front of me. He offered me a smile. A real one. I stared at his weird and unique eye color. Oh right, he’s that other ‘different’ boy aside from me.
“It’s ok to cry.”
“No it’s not,” I said back and dropped my own smile.
“Why?”
“Because it’s selfish of me to cry.”
He frowned. I could see he wanted to ask ‘why’ again, but he didn’t. He crawled over to sit beside me instead and leaned against the tree, hugging his knees close to himself. We didn’t say anything for a while, just sat there in silence and staring out in the dark forest.
((this part isn't done yet.___.))
I smirked at the little talking lizard looking animal on the ground in front of me, pocking it with a stick.
“Stop that you monstrous little brat!” it hissed back at me, only making me chuckle at it and poke it even more.
“Monstrous? That’s a new one,” I laughed.
It was quite obvious it wanted to tear my eyes out at this point, but I could sense he was sacred as hell at the same time. Was it because I’m ‘different’ too? Yeah, that’s probably it.
“You mind letting me go now?” it growled, tapping its finger/claws on the ground. “I can’t feel my tail because of your fat foot stepping on it!”
“How the heck am I fat?” I pouted. “I’m pretty sure I’m underweight.”
“Yeah and you’re ugly as hell too,” another voice joined in from behind me.
I turned to glare slightly at him, picking up the small dragon by his tail and stood up. “Shut it Faci, like you’re one to talk.”
Facilier just shrugged and walked closer to get a better look at the hissing dragon trying to break loose from my grip. He titled his head.
“Hey, that’s the lizard thing Jaffy caught the other day,” he realized, snapping his fingers.
“I’m a mother fucking DRAGON you damn brats!!!” it roared.
“Could've fooled me,” I chuckled, making Facilier laugh beside me.
It growled irritated and crossed his tiny arms, seeming to give up for the moment trying to get free.
“Soooo….” Faci said after a quiet moment. “Grilled or cooked?”
The dragon’s jaw dropped. “Let’s have a barbecue feast!” I sang out and turned to walk home. He immediately started struggle violently again. Trying to bite, claw, anything to make me let go. But like hell I was going to. I’m hungry! I and Facilier needed food sometimes too.
