Far away from every living being's eyes, two ennemies met once again, both on Neverland for different reasons.
Ethan Riley, was standing, tall, young, strong, heroic, ready to give his life to save others.
Thrax on the other side, was ugly and weak, a coward, a psychopath, a monster that nobody would care to remember.
As they faced each other, they seemed to have somehow, so much in common.
Thrax : So, this is it? That famous day where you'll strike me down?
Ethan : You've got enough blood on your hands, demon. The universe have already enough issues to deal with, it doesn't need people like you.
Thrax : People like me? There isn't people like me, I shouldn't even exist!
Ethan : What do you mean?
Thrax : I was born from -
Ethan : STOP MENTIONNING THE SAME CRAP OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
Thrax : You're right... Let me tell you a beautiful fairytale, I'm sure you'll like it.
Ethan wasn't sure where his other 'self' was going, but he was curious to listen.
Thrax : A smart little boy named Ethan, got his parents killed by a monster and then, the same monster raised the little boy. Ethan hated his adoptive father for what he was, a criminal, caring more about power and money than anything else. The kid managed to survive a terrible childhood, killed his first victim at the age of 9, was trained against his will to become a profesionnal assassin. His name inspired fear in every street of countless countries. But what he deeply wanted to do with everything he worked to achieve, was a perfect world where kids wouldn't suffer like he had to do. To do so, at the age of 23 he murdered his own father and took control of gang after gang, until he was at the top of the pyramid. He even used dangeroux toxines over his body to become more than a man, that transformed his body and mind, but his goal didn't changed. He even got the attention of a Goddess! He a simple mortal made Eris show herself, and offered him a deal, 1000 deaths for the ultimate reward. Having control over crime wasn't good enough for the boy, only with the powers of a god, he could make the world perfect. For this reason, he murdered so many innocent womans, childrens, old people. He was a mass murderer, but closer to his goal. Finishing the deal on Neverland was just cherry on the cake, take the souls of the people who betrayed his real parents.
Ethan : Why are you telling me all this? Isn't the memory of my past good enough?
Thrax : No it isn't, this isn't your past, this is what you imagine of your past, nothing more than a fairytale to tell everyone, to save your counciousness from all your horrible crimes. How it really happened is WAAAYY shorter. Your parents were killed, you were raised by a crimelord, you tasted what it felt to hold someone's life in your hands and became addicted to it, to everything that your new father brought you, womens, money, glory, power. You don't even remember the suffering of your first years.
Ethan : IT'S A LIE, YOU... YOU MADE ME THINK THAT WAY, ACT THAT WAY!
Thrax : Me being born from your madness? Phew! That's only making the fairytale more interesting. Your transformation made you more violent, but never I manipulated you. Like I told you, before Hexxus used that spell on you, I didn't even existed physically.
Ethan : So... everything?
Thrax : Your own counciousness is very difficult to take care of, you have to create stories from nowhere to make people think you're not guilty for your crimes or your 'evil' aspects. I would lie If I say you're not a bit insane! Come on! All that drama with that Odette, you were just acting because you know deep inside she's not attracted to rich and powerful people, you acted like a villain looking for redemption, and it worked out very well!
Ethan : I don't believe a word....
Thrax : You don't believe a word because you're naive, you can't look inside of you, Hexxus separated us!
Thrax started tossing a coin, again and again with his hand.
Thrax : We're exactly, on every point the same person, there IS good and evil in every living being, you and I are two sides of the same coin. How will you fight against Sinbad and Hexxus If you're completly without hatred? Without me, you'll be naive as a kid and will only end up in a disaster.
Ethan looked deeply inside him, as time passes, he discovered that he was losing everything negative. He wasn't even sure If he could hurt Thrax, he didn't wanted to....
Thrax : And without consciousness, what am I, nothing more than a savage animal looking for something to kill, following the strongest, losing the wisdom that brought us so far. And that's exactly what Hexxus had planed for you Ethan.
Ethan : What do you mean?
Thrax : Having you seperated, you're becoming weaker and weaker, at this moment you're not a bigger threat than a tree, you're not willing to attack or defend yourself. But having me, losing my mind, willing to obey the strongest, he'd have a perfect puppet to add to his army. Two birds with one stone.
Ethan : Seperated, we're weak...
Thrax : Together, we're invincible...
Ethan : That spell...
Thrax : has no chance to

The two being looked inside each other's eyes, hypnotized.
Ethan : I want to save Neverland
Thrax : I want to destroy Neverland.
Ethan/Thrax : We want everything
Ethan : Nothing is pure evil
Thrax : Nothing is completly good
Ethan/Thrax : Only both at the same time can exist, two sides of the same coin
Ethan : We'll save the people we love, we'll take care of them.
Thrax : And we'll destroy everything that stands in our way, we'll make them suffer and beg for mercy.
The two greatest ennemies couldn't live seperated, together....
